| On October 24th, 1997, the new Terminal 2 was opened at the Frankfurt airport. A carousel installation was built in an existing elevator shaft of 30 m height, with a cross section of 2,1 x 2,6 m, to put the luggage trolleys at the disposal of the travellers where they actually need them. |
